Do You Really Know Your ADHD?
ADHD is the most publicized and most understood disorder in the USA and maybe
in the world. With all the media hype that is being disseminated to the public, there
still are a number of negative messages that are clouding the truth about ADHD.
With four per cent of the world population having ADHD and 85% undiagnosed,
we have a huge opportunity to improve peoples’ understanding of ADHD through
education.Despite all the validated scientific information and research being made
available to the public, ADHD is still is poorly managed even by those who are
diagnosed with it. There is still a lack of health care professionals who are well versed
in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. Well trained ADHD Coaches can significantly
improve the quality of life for ADDers by empowering them to learn about their unique
brain wiring by exploring and discovering how their own ADHD manifests in different
situations.

Virtual ADHD Awareness Expo this week
In recognition of ADHD awareness week here in the US, I’d like youto join me for the first ever Virtual ADHD Awareness Expo. http://www.ADHDExpo.com/
Register today for FREE and get access to presentations, demonstrations, and the latestinformation from leading experts, authors, and companies serving the ADHD community.
In honor of ADHD Awareness week, in the USA this week and Europe next week, I have created
a series of videos that will be placed on this blog as well as our Facebook Fan page.
It is not enough to learn about ADHD by going to a lecture or conference. In order to truly have
success with ADHD you have to go out into the world and experience the challenges and
successes of living with ADHD.
You can learn to identify how and where your ADHD show up in different situations. The best kind
of education is a practical one that teaches you how and where you can learn to manage your
challenges while accentuating your strengths. Learning to let go of beliefs that dictate how you
should live your life will only hold you back. You must learn to embrace your unique brain wiring
and integrate the natural ways you do things successfully in your world.

You Are Your Own Story
Things are not always as they appear in the physical world. You need to make sure that what
someone is saying and what you are hearing are one and the same.
Unless, you verify the specific thoughts going on in the mind of the person you are observing,
you are only making an assumption about what is really happening. It is always a good idea
to mirror back what you are hearing someone convey so you can validate its accuracy. Otherwise
assumptions can be made & can lead you down the wrong path. Find out the true story someone
is telling themselves before you identify a plot that may not be true. To learn more, please go to http://www.ADDCA.com
