2011 ADD Coach Academy Conference - Presentation Recordings Available

This year’s ADD Coach Academy Conference was a life-changing experience, full of connection, creativity and camaraderie that brought together the Academy’s outstanding, international, ADHD coaching community.  It was energizing for all who attended.

We were inspired with the benevolent, compassionate and purposeful presence of our ADDCA coaching community. It was an experience that we will carry with us in the days to come.

ADDCA’s vision continues to expand in significant ways; not only through live conferences but also via the important work you are all doing to empower your clients, every day.

For those of you who were unable to make it.. the conference presentation recordings are now available!

Paper Clips *

I recently watched a life changing film, “Paper Clips.” It is an extraordinary documentary that focuses on an experiment in Holocaust education. It takes place in a rural town of 1600 people in Whitehill, Tennessee. The students in the town’s middle school are learning about the Holocaust. They are struggling to grasp how six million Jews were killed just for their religious beliefs.

What’s Your New Story for the New Year?**

What’s Your New Story for the New Year?
What’s the theme of your story going to be this year?
You are probably aware that the power of your mind can either propel or prohibit you from taking focused, forward- moving action.
You are probably aware of what positive messages can do for your brain. Yet, most of you never go to a “proactive place” because
you have established strong patterns that you actually feel comfortable living with every day. You feel safe with the story that you
have created, even though you know it does not serve you well.

Introduction: ADHD Coaching

Hello my name is David Giwerc. I am the Founder and President of the ADD Coach Academy, http://www.addca.com.  Since becoming a coach in 1994, I have been privileged and honored to witness thousands of adults and families with AD/HD take amazing leaps and bounds to become more fulfilled human beings.

This only can begin to happen when you become educated about your own ADHD. I don’t mean a general, textbook education of ADHD with medical language about the brain and the corresponding imbalance of neurochemicals. Unfortunately, that is how most health care professionals may have explained ADHD to you.

The kind of education that will empower people with ADHD to move forward is the kind of customized, individualized education that encourages you to explore and discover the specific situations where your own impairing challenges (inattention, impulsivity and hyper activity) of ADHD have impeded your ability to move forward.

To find out how you can get educated about your own ADHD in powerful proven ways, please go to Simply ADHD Program

Awaken Your Buried Treasure

Successful, fulfilling events in your life have brought you great joy and strengthened your self confidence. Although you know these experiences exist, you have not been able to conjure them for a long time. You have the ability to bring back these events, about yourself at any time, but the knowledge of how to do so is buried in the depths of your subconscious; you have been totally unaware of its existence.
